With so many human rights being denied worldwide, the task of fighting on behalf of humanity and human dignity can seem daunting. Here the Center for Human Rights Leadership, at Claremont McKenna College, offers a forum for sharing stories and articles related to human rights and responses to them, as well as events happening on campus. Students and the general public alike are encouraged to participate in this blog.

This article is interesting because we have a tendency to assume that once a country has "reformed," it becomes an ally for human rights. Russia is another example of a country that seems to be slipping back down a path that goes against the defense of human rights. Check out this article:
